I
think that GA means General Availability and perhaps is the same

FCS stands for First Customer Ship[ment]
I was really hoping to use Xen with Build 99 on Xeons but apparently there is a
bug (kernel panic) so I'm not able to. Is there any way to grab an older build?
Thanks,
Paul

I didn't even know that site existed! I think maybe it renders my page

Seems number of replies goes up, and usefulness probably goes down,
in proportion to how provocatively phrased the question could be seen
to be. :-)

Thanks for those. Can I use your explanations on my page? I would "source

Thanks

I have started to create a page to explain some of the jargon that is specific
to Solaris and/or Sun but I'm stock on a few terms. Can some knowledgeable folk
possibly have a look and reply here with definitions for those I've not got
meanings for, and also check I've got the rest correct? The p
Solaris is not Linux. You cannot assume that because the sutdown command exists
on Solaris that it takes the same arguments as on Linux. If you read the man
page for shutdonw you will see that the correct way to initiate an immediate
shutdown on Solaris is to issue this command:
shutdown -i5 -g
Thanks. Wish I phrased the question better, but great response.
