As you can see from the figures they are amazingly
good. So ZFS is not the bottleneck. The Samba values
of Ubuntu where a little bit better compared to
FreeBSB but absolutely unstable.
So what I see is ZFS is performing well

Do you have zones on this system?
If so, you may have to remove them to perform the update.

zones. I doubt my emacs, netbeans, gmake, sun studio express, pidgin, firefox,

works.)
I should add (after mounting rpool in /rpool):
I also use zsh on OpenSolaris, and it's awesome ;)

I understand it will be based off snv_116, which came out on May 26.
Excuse me or butting in
I am running 111b which is the latest from /release. When I chech

Hello everyone,
I want to ask you if anyone is using ZSH shell... I've been using it for some time, and I think it
is great interactive shell, perfect for working with commands such as zfs or
zpool. If anyone is interested in how this shell looks like, check this

I guess you had osol-111 or renamed your BE that way, then did a pkg
image-update to 111b. But image-update just creates a new BE
called CurrentBE + 1 = 112. it does not mean that you are running
112.

We just verified that the download center page is a little messed up at
the moment. You can get part b if you select multi-language instead
of English. Hopefully we will have this cleared up later today.
