This Packet Tracer bug is weird because Packet Tracer used to run fine in Wine under Linux: http://inspirated.com/2009/03/06/using-cisco-packet-tracer-on-linux And my Wine in OpenSolaris does have some functionality as I am able to run Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6 and Firefox 2 for Win

I tried running CISCO's Packet Tracer software: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cisco_Packet_Tracer on my aging OpenSolaris 2008.11 box and the installation went fine and completed ok, but as soon as I tried to use Wine to run Packet Tracer I got this error message going around in an infinite loop
