FINSHED Thank you for your support guys, I think my hosts file may have been corrupt! I had disabled reverse mapping but it is obviously somehow still working as i renamed my current /etc/hosts file to /etc/lmhosts and wrote a new /etc/hosts file Now everything is working perfect again!!
