Can anyone please tell me what the main improvements are for the upcoming
OpenSolaris 2010.03, I don't just mean actual features but also updated
programs.
For example, what version of Firefox/Thunderbird, OpenOffice.org and VLC will
be included?

I think that I read somewhere that Firefox 3.6 will be included in a branch
after 2010.03 is released but not before, because I think that 3.6.2 is about
to be released.

I just attempted to upgrade my OpenSolaris build 131 AMD64 system to
build 134, and failed miserably. Here's what happened:
First, since this step is normally required, I tried to do pkg install
SUNWipkg. That didn't work. It failed (after downloading well over

thought that in /dev/zvol/rdsk the dump directory want empty so I deleted it.
My system now reboots - I am trying to get a Live CD inserted so I can get back
into the system. My question is - is it just a matter of
