You may want to read up on the ancient Unix idea of setuid root software
before making such proclamations.

I still missing a way to use a ldap group to centrally give a user
access to the root role on a opensolaris system. (e.g. Domain\ Admins)
Furthermore I thing ssh is not a proper place to limit logon privileges
based on ldap groups. A pam based solution like pam_access would be fine
to be available
From how I read the Premier Support for Operating Systems on non-Sun/Oracle

Compatibility testing under this program, audit of test results and acceptance
of the terms of a certification agreement are criteria for Oracle to list third
party systems

good one because these two folks have been going at it in every post on the
future of solaris. But not everyone agrees.
My apologies for posting it!

First off, a huge thank you to the folks at LinuxWacom who adapted and compiled
the binaries for the Wacom drawing tablet drivers for OpenSolaris. That was
truly a labor of love that (finally) allows me to use my drawing tablet.

Don't apologize!
I thought the corner had been turned and the sickening onslaught of what will
happen to OpenSolaris had ended.

the topic so it doesn't die out.
