Hi Shawn, thanks for your quick answer That's the hint here. Did you set pkg/mirror=true in SMF? If so, it needs to be set to pkg/mirror=false. I didnot set pkg/mirror at all. So the default seems to be true. I changed it to false, did a refresh/restart and everything works fine now

FYI Just for the record, I filed a bug report. I just installed meld, but it refuses to run, shouldn't Package Manager pull in any dependencies meld needs to run. According to Package Manager the only dependencies listed are consolidation/sfw/sfw-incorporation and runtime/python-24.

I fixed this by moving /usr/lib/firefox to /usr/lib/firefox.3.5.7.bad Then I installed firefox 3.6.2 from a tarball. This firefox worked, so I moved that /usr/lib/firefox to /usr/lib/firefox_3.6.2 and made a link /usr/lib/firefox - /usr/lib/firefox_3.6.2. I assume we will always need the link

Hi, this method may also work for you; First i switch into root user, after I unpack the package, i went into OOO330_m15_native_packed-1_en-US.9546/packages ped: pkadd -d. (with a dot at the end) said all to install said 'yes' to all of the questions, then it installed.
