ok, Let me explian our problem.
Actually we have 11 disks inside the server
1) using 10 disks we have a created zfs pool using raid 1+0 config.
2) one disk was used for Operating system
3) we are using solaris 10 upate 5
4) suddenly one of the disk inside pool got

Have you used zfs commands to detach/replace the disc before physically
replacing it? (I am not zfs guru, and not sure what the commands should be -
zpool detach? zpool replace?)
If not, maybe replacing back a faulty disk is the option (it contains
yeah that was my fault
We haven't done any detach command. I simply went for the replacement.

service/storage/zfs-auto-snapshot I noticed it needed/added 52 dependencies

I looked for a G9 in local stores but only the G9x is
now available. The web page you sent points to a link
that implies the G9 is EOL, replaced by the G9x.
When you boot LiveCD are there any interesting USB

Probably you can undo such replacement - plug back the faulty disk, then
import the pool, and only then something like
# zpool remove ...
replace the faulty disk with the new one

I’m trying to find out how much more load (in terms of memory) we can place on
our server. It’s a T6320 (2 * 8 core) with 64GB running Solaris 10 5/09 and
Oracle with 20 databases over about 15 zones. We need to move more Oracle
databases onto this server.
Here is the output of echo
I realise we could just continually increase memory
load until the page scanner reaches some threshold,
but this is not really an acceptable approach.
You could do that without fiddling with the database resources,
by running a simple program (like the attached) to add
a temporary load to the
