but psrinfo reports it as running at 600MHz:

on-line since 07/31/2006 10:32:29.
The i386 processor operates at 600 MHz,
and has an i387
This seems to have failed to make it to the list the first time.

I think there might be a problem with freq_tsc() function
that uses a combination of PIT and TSC counters to determine
CPU frequency on your laptop.
