well I just installed my favorite flavor of opensolaris SCXE and I find that option menu to select terminal from the desktop is still broken and probably will not be fixed, also it seems that staroffice now upon selecting a document type will immediately bring up the document recovery panel and

Well StarOffice has to be patched to Update 2 and then run twice and it is fine, but still a no-go when trying to patch with Update 3 it fails zones attributes check. Also Nimbus is a Fugly theme is I ever saw one. Hell the Hi-Tech theme from Mac OS 8.5 Beta was Fugly but tons better and alot

Updating to U2 fixed the crash for me, under root, I did not try it under a normal user because I don't normally work under a user account. A stock install of b125 crashed StarOffice on every run. patch 3 is still fubar with the zones attributes check fail. I always like to patch my software if
