The instructions for removing the WinXP partition given above seem to be
correct, but they won't do you much good, since ZFS won't automatically detect
the free space. Furthermore, I don't believe that you can even manually make
ZFS use the extra space, if you increase
You can remove your WinXP using the Solaris fdisk command, be careful, but not
adding it back using the menu interface, for that you need to look at man page
for fdisk -w vs. -W
Also you can setup more then one zfs be creating another slice under format
command. the rpool uses first slice of

Hi,
I think I able to migrate from dual-booting with WinX OS to OS with
Virtualized WinXP.
Currently I have two partitions on my hdd - one for WinXP, and other for OS.
Now, I want my whole hdd being used by OS solely.
