I have a similar option and was going to offer to do this as well :-)
I won't have as much RAM but for a POC and some dev work it should be ok.

I am not sure how I missed this reply.
Thank you So much for this info.
It is VERY helpful.
Did you use a deployment tool or are these manually installed.
Thanks again

I was able to setup SR-IOV passthrough using the following wiki:

Ports created from this network are bound to VFs as expected.

Hello everyone,
Swift was last to RC1, but they are first in the RC2 race :) Due to
release-critical issues spotted in RC1 testing, a new release candidate
was created for Kilo. The 2.3.0 RC2 tarball is available for download at:

do you have a script or notes on how to do this? I'll be giving the above
configuration a try really soon. I would be
willing to document and share it.

It would be helpful to identify which SDK?
You're probably aware the auth service and the object storage service are
different http endpoints - you get a token from auth, you provide the token
to swift with the request - swift validates the token and authorizes the
request. If the token provided

I am writing an application that writes and reads from Swift using an SDK
to communicate to Openstack. Would like to hear some insight as to avoid
the default 60 minute token expiration. What I was looking into was
recreating the connection to Openstack but wasn't sure if this actually

Are you recloning the projects also?
If not then do the clean.sh and then delete the /opt/stack/ folder and do
the stack.sh again. The error may have caused due to the old repositories
of projects in /opt/stack/

Hi Abhishek,
the result of the command git status inside the devstack forlder is this:
On branch master
Your branch is up-to-date with 'origin/master'.
Untracked files:
(use "git add ..." to include in what will be committed)
tmp-venv-HMry/
tmp-venv-ReEW/
nothing added to commit but untracked
All the projects prior to this release have API reference documentation here:
http://developer.openstack.org/api-ref.html
That's 14 APIs (due to multiple versions for some projects).
Every project added since this year also has a REST API, so I believe
there are 7 additional. See

Hi Silvia,
Can you please do a *git status* and then tell me which devstack version

Hi all, I'm re-installing OpenStack using Devstack and I'm building a

Hi
I am doing my thesis in OpenDayLight and its use in OpenStack Neutron is
one of the use case of ODL I want to showcase. I am aware that with ODL, no
openvswitch agents are needed in Neutron and Compute nodes and also ODL
creates tunnels between them. I read that DHCP and L3 agent support to com

Can anyone please let me know on the total count of number of APIs provided
by openstack including all the projects??
Thanks
