There are several deployment automation tools leveraging the puppet-openstack
modules.
Those are under the Big Tent and each has its own composition layer and
deployment patterns
Hi Maruti,
Yes, it is still ongoing, without a first release yet. We expect to release a
1.0 driver very soon that will support a single network view shared by all
tenants.
A later version will include the ability to map tenants and/or specific subnets
to various network views at runtime.
I have attempted to use the fixed_ip for our internal use.
I found too many issues with the existing feature, and would propose to rewrite
it as new feature.
The problem I experienced are:
1. ) I have to repeatedly enter the option --fixed_ip for as many IPs as I need
to apply. This will not
Hi,
I do have a situation where an instance was deleted while resizing, and there
are vswitch ports remaining in use when they shouldn't be.
I suspect that it's related to bug 1392527.
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+bug/1392527) That bug was involved a scenario

Hi folks,
Thanks for the fruitful discussion on the summit: seems like we are in
agreement and have a good plan to proceed.
Here is the video recording of the PoC I've made to serve the current
AppCatalog's data using Glance Artifacts. As the demo was recorded before
the summit, it's called

Hi,
I have tried GBP in Kilo. Now I want to try GBP+SFC integration in Kilo.
Regarding which i have few questions,
1. Is GBP+SFC supported now in Kilo?
2. If yes, please suggest me some links to follow.
3. For creating SFC in kilo where can I find heat templates?
Regards,
Naresh.
Maybe interesting for some of you as well,
Andreas

Dear colleagues,
I'm glad to announce that network-checker is a separate project now. All

Yeah, I guess I need to be more explicit on where my mails should be

I apologize wholeheartedly.

Oh,
Hey guys,
In this summary
https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Design_Summit/Mitaka/Etherpads, there
is a live upgrade session. But the linked the etherpad is empty:
https://etherpad.openstack.org/p/mitaka-crossproject-upgrades .
So what's the status or conclusion of this session?

Hi Maruti,
For now only Pluggable IPAM interface with reference IPAM driver were released,
and I am working on implementing IPAM driver for Infoblox.
But I am not aware about existense of IPAM drivers from BlueCat or Alcatel.
If you want to investigate with pluggable IPAM more you can start with

Here's our use-case for Multi-ip:
For Ironic, we want user to specify the number of IPs on boot.
Hi Armando,
thanks for you answer.
We actually just want approval for posting non voting comments to neutron.
As you said we don't have a significant history on Gerrit because, after
some successful tests, we stopped posting comments on neutron (and nova)
waiting for core maintainers approval.
