Hi all
I have strange problem wirth my openSUSE 10.3
After supend to disk I've get long time booting of GRUB approx. 1 min.
I check everything with disk
I've done fsck and make some results and this is what I get
normal sturtup - after shutdown - OK
resume from suspend to ram - OK
resume from

Today I noticed problem with openSUSE updater
I have 2 computers 1 PC and 1 Laptop both have openSUSE 10.3 1CD KDE
On PC everything is ok but on laptop I have no updates for my system I tried
to run YaST >> software >> Update configuration and it show me that

You probably had partition on fstab with was on on broken hardisk and system
vcannot mount it
check your /etc/fstab for it you can paste here you fstab

To fast acces to opensuse I prefer to run system from instalation CD/DVD and
when you asked to update or new install chose other and boot instaled system
After boot you go to TaST and bootloadre module and install new one :)

Ok after 2 days of checking I found some big for me problems
1) No sound after suspend to disk
/etc/rc.d/alsasound restart or reload
don't restore the sound
mic is working I se it on krecord monitor
there is no /etc/pm/config so if someone know how to unload sound modules
before suspend and
try manual
load module:
modprobe you_module
check if is ok
dmesg
and check interface
iwconfig

I have only 2 problems:
1) some java aplications had problem with some lock file (I fond solution:
export ...)
2) wine handing the system but I try run apli
Just open Yast add new card and in hardware optiond use module field

I have the same problem from 10.1 to 10.3.
I'm using WiFi with WEP encryption and not open but shared key
Right now I'm using ndiswrapeer to handle it.
Is someone found solution how to use bcm43xx with shose kind of settings

As I noticed my free space after one year using SUSE is really small i noticed
that directories whitch was almost empty after instalation have some size is
tehere an easy way to clean it
