You can use GIMP. It is not well documented and took me a while until I
found it. The easy path is:
1- Use layers as if each layer was a frame of your animation.
2- Save it as gif. It will asked you whether to save it as an animation or
as indexed. Save it as animation :)
3- You'll be asked for so
or write an implementation and submit it as a patch :)

Yes and no. I explain myself.
The version you downloaded is for the CDROM media so you must have an
OpenSuSE10.3 Alpha3 in your CD.
However, it looks for the CDROM after loading the kernel and the initrd,
and does not seem to load them right.
GRUB4DOS seems to have a strange bug. In some machine
First of all thanks.
Could you send me the file c:\menu.lst?
Could you tell me if the following directory structure exists?
c:\distros\instluxCDROMOpenSuse10_3
If so, do you have the files linux and initrd in it?
Thanks,
jordi

There is a feature, already at the wishlist, I'd like to be discussed. That
is installing OpenSuSE without configuring the BIOS on a windows box
(easying the installation process). That is the purpose of a project I am
involved called "instlux (http://instlux.sourceforge.net)" and I think it is

It would be nice if Novell was writing somewhere where does trademarks are.
That way, it would be easier to make distros based on OpenSuSE, as OpenSuSE
is a too general purpose distro for many people. In
Dear OpenSuSE guys,
When OpenSuSE 10.2 is finished, will be a meeting for discussing the new
features of the new OpenSuSE? Will it be before finishing OpenSuSE 10.2? Is
there any mechanism than people from the comunity can collaborate on the

Hi!
While creating a livecd based on OpenSuSE10.0, we get to a failure creating
the compressed filesystem, using the livecd scripts at the novell forge.
The problem is related to the block size that is used at the
create_compressed_fs command. Actually, the livecd scripts did:

Hi,
while booting with a custom liveDVD (created using livecd project in
forge.novell.com) it fails showing the following message:
can not find the CD I was booted from
It boots with the cd (actually an iso file). Why it says that? I tried to
manually create the iso using the files at the SuSE1

Hi,
I have a doubt about whether is legal to redistribute the opensuse
openoffice packages, as it has opensuse logos on it. Can it be redistributed
wihtout modifications? Should the opensuse logos be removed before
redistributing it?

Hello,
is there a repository for opensuse10.0 with 10.1 packages? The problem I am
trying to solve is that there are some packages (ant and its dependencies)
that I need to install on an opensuse 10.0 that are at the opensuse10.1
repository. I do not find the source code, so that I can not create
