Hi everybody,
I'm in the process of testing OTC 1.0 and experienced a problem with
optical media, which would be a showstopper for using OTC in our
environment: When a cdrom is inserted in a local (S)ATA optical drive,
it's mounted automatically (nice!) but cannot be ejected by the user(!).

Hi everybody,
I'm in the proce
in the issue tracker, because a complete recycling of
old PC Hardware to otc ThinClients wont't work if optical drives are still

I experienced that problem with machines that had more than one network card
installed. I uninstalled the older - meanwhile unused - card and it worked...

Hi,
in contrast to thinStation the openthinclient system is based on NFS-mounted
filesystems, so the cause of this very slow booting could be a low bandwidth
connection to the otc server or a congested network. Even with a perfect
network connection it coud take a few minutes to boot a 400Mhz G
