It's been a while since the community has discussed graduation. What
are your current thoughts?
I've mentored about all that I can mentor... ; -)
From the last time I kicked off the discussion:

Hi;
I think that we are ready for starting graduation process. I believe that we
attracted some more committers around the project.
WDYT about the graduation as a TLP before releasing a next milestone?
Thanks;

was removed :) I'd really like to offer the industry some consistency
and unity where the JCP has failed to provide it.
In terms of graduation, it really depends on where everyone's head is
at in terms of implementation/project independence over the long
haul. Very interested in thoughts
What do we have to do in order to get OWB graduated?

It's been a while since
readiness (or at least affecting how much I
pushed the community to consider graduation). IMO, I think that was wrong. I

are resolved
+1 om graduation to a TLP.

+1 on the graduation - I agree with Kevan, that this (little)
community is on the right way.
Instead of being a sub-project, I'd vote to have OWB becoming a TLP.
One reason is that by being standalone it is easier to ensure the project is
tied to closely to Geronimo, which makes distribution
Good point

Allow me to disagree with you Gurkan, IMHO I think OWN
. But I don't think I could back a
TLP proposal without some increased diversity in the community.
Hopefully with the 299 and EE6 spec issues settling down, we'll see
an increased interest in OpenWebBeans.
Agreed on all points.
As long as the community is working towards graduation, I'm
