Sure, you can recover this situation in different ways.
There is a password forgot URL but I realized there is no link from the
main login form:

Therefore, you can try going to:
/accounts/password/reset/

I'm confused. You mention openwisp, then openwrt, so I'm not sure which
password of which application you are referring to. Is it the django
application, "openwisp controller"? Is it the custom luci interface for
openwrt?
