Are we not supposed to 'Set Serveroutput On' in the glogin.sql file?
I'm getting the following error when using DBMS_OUTPUT in pl/sql if the
parameter is set in glogin.sql.
SQL> Create or Replace Procedure TEST1 as
Begin
DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE('TEST');
End;
Compiles ok, but
Why not use utlrp.sql from $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin ?
If you are running Oracle Applications, you might want to have multiple

When installing new Oracle products, it is not unusual for that
product to install it's own sqlnet.ora and tnsnames.ora.
These will of course be incorrect.
As Cherie said, you may want to just try setting TNS_ADMIN, or
you can make sure the files are in sync.
