I was running 8.1.7.4 with 8.1.7 listeners at the time. I changed
the ports to non-default ports and upgraded to 9. And haven't had
a problem since.

I just had this problem after upgrading. The agent is 32 bit
based.
libvppdc.so
file needs to be in $ORACLE_HOME/lib32.
Then you need
to set the LIBPATH variable to list lib32 directrory first.
LIBPATH=$ORACLE_HOME/lib32:$ORACLE_HOME/lib
Be careful this
doesn't break something else. I had to
thing that matters to me. I am running NT. From the extremely
limited docs about the client, I can't see any harm in turning it off.
Let me know your thoughts - opinions.
Thanks,
LeRoy

Do I need to remove all users from this tablespace before making these
changes? The tablespace is temporary so does that make a difference?
Any suggestions?
