Yep, it was initially supposed to be compatible with minix, used it's file
system etc...
I just read Linus'es posts to minix newsgroups from archives about his small
Linux (or it's tools) do have vulnerabilities as well. And more will be
discovered/exploited as linux gains popularity.
In my personal opinion, Linux is Windows of unix world. It doesn't mean it
is a bad thing, though. And a lot of linux fans are quite dummies compared
to BSD enthusiasts for
