Had anyone else heard from someone called Prince Vaugh, III? He contacted
me and said they were putting together a documentary on origami and we're
wondering if I, or one of my colleagues, would be interested in
participating.
Does anyone know about this? Anyone participating?

Yes, I also got this message --- by the way, it's Prince Vaughn ("n" on
the end). I have not followed up, but I do see that documentary
film-making is mentioned on Mark Wahlberg's web pages. I am wondering
if it somehow connected to Community Origami Group events scheduled on
the OUSA website
Yes I got an email from him too. I looked him up, as well as the production
company, and both look legitimate, but I’m still a little leery. I did reply,
asking for more information. Maybe I shouldn’t have replied?

I also got his e-mail and I am nowhere near the quality of origami artist of
you, June and Charlene, (amnd I am also not “known” in the origami world, so I
was immediately suspicious. It just doesn’t sound legitimate and the tone of
his writing also sounds questionable.

who I thought might be interested in the proposed project. It came to me by
the name of my local group here in Prescott and I assumed they got that
info from the OUSA website. The email didn't provide a lot of info, but

community groups, like a 'casting call', to see
who would be interested in participating in this project, then they would
narrow down the selections.
We'll see! At least he wasn't asking for money.

I googled him. He has one movie..it says he has a casting company...could be
tiny. There are many independent film folks.
It looks, to me, like he emailed the contact people from the community origami
groups that are listed on LISA’s website.
All this is a hunch, of course.
