As has been mentioned already in the thread, Paypal is not just any "vendor". Paypal is a *secure payment method* vendor. It is not that I specifically distrust The Source, but since much bigger online sites get hacked all the time, I have no reason to trust The Source with my credit card data

Regarding PayPal and whether the Source accepts it - let's be clear. PayPal account holders can get a PayPal debit card for free that works for any vendor that takes credit cards. So if I want to pay the Source with my PayPal balance, I simply pull out my PayPal Visa and put in those 16 digits.
