Title: SV: Orion OpenTool to JBuilder 4?
One such effort was started, but was closed due to some problems encountered that Borland/Inprise didnt care to respond to.
AFAIK, that effort died there.
Please go ahead, I would really like such a tool :)

I've been trying to find ANY information about pluging in
Orion as part of
the servers inside JBuilder using the OpenTool API. Doesn't
look like
anyone's written one. I've sent an email to the Orion folks,
no response.
I have a source
to JBuilder 4?
Yep sure did, and this is only debugging but does not give you the
advantage of auto deploy without using other tools and things like
that. Running the whole app JBuilder would be really nice,
especially with
JSP and all that.

I am new to Orion and want to begin developing / testing EJB
written for BEA WebLogic. I suppose this is not a problem but I do
not know how to use/embed JBuilder/Visual Cafe to start developing.
Anyone who uses JBuilder 4 to develop EJB's for Orion ?

Russ,
how did you manage to include the orion specific stuff (e. g. CMP field
mappings in orion-ejb-jar etc.) into the jar or your deployment? Or do you
create and copy them manualy?

I am already using JBuilder4E with Orion. And deployment is a breeze. Just

Joshua,
Did you get a hold of an eval copy? If so how could I?
Also did you make any progress with JB4 and Orion?
Thanks,

I've just started testing JBuilder 4 Enterprise Edition. One of the nice
things about it is the integration with the (included) Inprise Application
Server. The OpenTools IDE includes hooks for integration with pretty much
any application server, especially for EJB deployment.
So, before I start
be thrilled to see what you can do.

Does anybody have any experience using this version of JBuilder 4 and Orion?
Well, since it's 'just out' it will be hard to find anyone with
experience. However, since
