I have just tried the Swahili TTS in OSMAND and the output during
navigation is garbled. Is this because of a corrupt TTS or because I need a
specific Swahili language pack for android?

The map styles are not compatible. You cannot get it to work unless somebody
manages to duplicate it for Osmand.
You can get the same or more information with the default osmand style. Switch
in the map settings in Details to "display surface" and "display quality".
Switch in "routes" MTB route
No wrong again, you have just overwritten the correct installation with your
BAD non working settings back - you have nullified the whole reason for
reinstall by this.
You have to keep the rendering folder as installed. Do it again, but before
restoring your settings copy the folder AS INSTALLED
There seems to be an issue with 3.1.5 and zooming, which the developer has
said is being worked on. This may be your issue.

OsmAnd 3.1.6, Android Lineageos 7.1.2, Motorola Moto G2 "peregrine".
I get a systematic crash when zooming on vilage "Bessan" a place near Adge,
on Occitanie map. It is not limited to that place, zooming around is the
same...
I uninstalled/reinstalled that map, reboot, with no success.
Hey folks, I've been wondering: If I want to download a full map of a
country, say Germany, is it enough to download the regionwide map or do the
maps of the individual regions provide additional information? I don't see
hints on this in the GUI or website. The app warns that the roads-only map
