Hi, Unfortunately, using GPS is one of the most energy-demanding tasks in a smartphone. Maybe you have some energy saving feature turned on? You can also try installing some "GPS-helper" app, i.e one of these: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.fabrizioalberti.gpshelper

Screen off GPS off

I love Osmamd, but I have one big issue, if I let the screen turn off, the GPS has to re aquire the sattelites, I am using the app on a LG stylo 2 (LG V82). I would like to find out if there is a setting I can change to keep this from happening, and see if I can save battery life? Any
