I used the RPM installation, which created the otrs user automatically. I'll
try a manual installation on another RH9 server and see how that goes.

the installation is really straight forward, with everry package avalaible
inthe RH9 CD . (notice: without GDperl package for the stats graphs)
but each time i tried to install after i forgot to create the user "otrs",
it writes a lot of incredible messages .

search/replace in source code) to have OTRS times in MySQL database to
use different time zone from the one for which MySQL server is set up?
Details: MySQL server (version 3.23.56) is run by ISP in different time
