Hello everyone
I recently created a stat using the System::Time time functions, and although
it worked for long time, now is just not responding.
When I try to generate the stat it just stays reloading forever and at the end
it throws a misconfiguration message which is not explicit, and when I
OK..So I downloaded and installed the new dashboard widgets for ticket create
and ticket search. They didn't show up in the options for the dashboard so I
checked in SysConfig and found that the options for them were disabled. I tried
to enable them (checking the checkbox) but when I hit the upd
That page mentions a widget for OTRS 3.0. Where is that? I tried

One of my users just asked me again if OTRS could have a quick search
function to search for a ticket number.
We also we phpbugtracker, a great free bug tracker, and on every page there
is a "Find bug" field in the upper right. All you need to do is enter a bug
number up there and immediately go
Is the beta release cycle driven by calendar dates or the quantity of bugs
fixed?
Would you expect many more beta versions prior to December 1st?

I get the same results with the original (I'm running 3.0 Beta 2) script
version (TZ set enabled).
I'm not that familiar with the unit test. Could you please explain the
following with regard to tests 1-4?
Unit test uses a baseline time of '2005-10-20T10:00:00Z'
my $SystemTime = $TimeObject->Ti
Hi Roland,
Since last Monday beta 3 has been released. This is really still not
stable yet; but at least would be fully usable for day to day use and
at least fit for use as proof-of-concept or evaluation. One thing to
note is that the ITSM and FAQ modules are not available (yet) for OTRS
3 so if
You might add a Notification (Event) on the note being created.

Hi,
We want to use OTRS as our ticketing system. On the website I see that
there is a beta version available that looks much better than the 2.x
version. Is it safe to use this version already, or would it be better
to wait until the version is stable?
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Hi Hugh,

This is really for setting an offset to UTC; otherwise if your test
machine would be on Pacific or so and another on Moscow time, the
tests would be generating different results. With this line, all unit
tests are running in CET no matter what your actual

Thank you.
Don't know what you are talking about? Don't have any point where a
customer can view an agents email address.

That's it! Thank you very much!
The option is located at SysConfig ->
I don't remember the exact location under the SysConfig but if you search the
archive (probably for rich text would be good) I asked the question back when
3.x was released.

In order to make time zones work consistently as UTC under PerlEx I've had
to set the TZ System environment variable.
Therefore, I just commented out the following (perhaps this is causing the
failures)
# set time zone to get correct references
# $ENV{TZ} = 'Europe/Berlin';
The results are below
