Thanks for doing the research. None of these seems to me like a hard
barrier to holding the OVS/OVN conference, but I'll continue to listen
to see if anyone else thinks differently.
We are planning to hold the OVS/OVN conference completely online this

I really appreciate the idea of discussing this.
I did a quick research on flagship conferences in related topics and it
seems that OvS and OVN conf. would collide with these ones:
ACM/IFIP Middleware
IEEE ACSAC (computer security applications conference)
IEEE Globecom
... and only one
We're talking about holding the Open vSwitch and OVN conference the week
of Dec. 7. Does anyone know of a reason that's a bad week (such as
other conferences that attendees are also likely to want to attend)?

The question came up in the Red Hat/VMware call this morning of whether
Gandi has built-in support for mailing lists. (I don't have a list of
everyone in the meeting so I'm just sending this To: everyone I could
think of off-hand.) If so, then it would make sense to use them for OVN
mailing
