There are definitely some kind of memory leak in owserver now which has
to be found. After one week of uptime owserver consumes 4.1Mb resident
memory. When starting up owserver the size is about 540kb.
Just wanted to warn you about this... I will try my very best to find
the problem as soon as po

Sounds like something we need to track down.
However, you are getting the error 2-3 times/day. Jan gets it after a few
seconds.

In the beginning there were delays in work owfs (1wire) and there were
messages of a kernel "... bulk ... failed... ". Then occured such:
...
kernel: usb ... reset
kernel: usb 1-7: USB disconnect

Hi,
I have been using owfs at home for a while now I am most impressed
with how easy it has been to setup and use. I wrote a pic interface to 1-wire
for a uni project a few years ago and I had the sensors lying around doing
nothing so I installed owfs and I haven’t looked back…

While the "cost per megabyte" is low, that assumes that the machine you

That does not work with owtcl, as an "OW::get" does only return the cached
1Wire node directories and the "alarm" directory. All other directories are
invisible and I get an error if I want to access

Serg, and anybody else who's into this,
I want to use iButton keys with my vending machine. They just appear on the
1-Wire wire bus when connected, disappear when disconnected (but only on bus
rescan).
With owfs, I can always touch the "uncached" directory to force a rescan of
the bus, and thu
