Hi all - don't know if this is a owfs issue but maybe someone has seen
this...
I have an AAG 4 relay board which lately either works or it doesn't
I can't trigger relays if input light #1 is on.
Why input light #1 comes on I have no idea as there are no inputs connected.
It sometimes comes on
thanks Paul - I was having the same problem with my 2760. what version
number should I look for when it gets ported to the slug?

I had problems with 2.6p1-3 with DS2423 devices on an NSLU2 and problems
(less) on Debian.
In both instances I was using USB.
I eventually reverted to an old serial adaptor which worked.

Hi Rob
Your message prompted me to check the processes on my slug.
PS looks a bit scarier than yours.
Why aren't old processes dying I wonder
Maybe more importantly why are new ones starting?
I 'm polling it every min to get data but I don't see why that would start
processes. Not using owrea

Hi all, FWIW all my DS2423 devices on the slug are now reading errors. Does
anyone remember which version these still worked for?

Hi
I'm having problems switching relays on my TAI8558 relay board (and
TAI8555) switch on my slug. By setting PIO.BYTE I can switch the relays
on the TAI8558, however, PIO.ALL seems to do nothing when putting in the
states of the relays. The TAI8555 sometimes switches and sometimes
doesn't, but a
Hi - I've given the CVS version of the code a go
DS2760 using the CVS version works on the pc
does not on the slug though
I noticed new packages were put on the nslu site (5th feb), hoping the
fix would be included for the slug
version number here for owfs is 2.6p1-3.

I believe I found the error. Fixed in the CVS. Tell me if it works for
you. (I don't have a DS2760 device to test).

2. Is the AAG model different. (There is example code to compare in
Delphi and Java).
When you use the devices, do you see the normal DS2760 values?
Temperature, vis, etc? That would be helpful is tracking this down.

Has anyone had any experience with the DS2760 based 1-wire AAG
thermocouple device?
I have 4 of them and can get none to work with owfs - ie. they all give
"Error: Invalid argument" errors on all outputs
yet they all work with ddeview. The rest of my network works well with
owfs.
thanks

hmm I
think you should have a look at the nslu wiki and read a bit on using extra
ports. It's all a bit fussy with what gets plugged in where. also, I don't think
the slug has com ports.

Hi
Matt
yes I
have come across this problem. I've tried direct powering myself through the usb
port with 2 different regulated 5V adaptors and all of the sensors misread. The
1-wire network just doesn't like direct powering, probably needs a very specific
voltage.
