Frank, can you create a homebrew-owncloud repo (yes, it has to be named that).

Hi,
seems that this was the wrong place. Owncloud still used the UUID for
the user directory. Meanwhile I have changed line 431 in
user_ldap/lib/connection.php from
if(!in_array($this-config['ldapUuidAttribute'], array('auto',
'entryuuid', 'nsuniqueid', 'objectguid'))

Hi,
If I understand your problem correctly, you don't need to change the
source at so many places. There are many things here that can be easily
mixed up:
1. uid to login
2. internal ID for OC
3. user home dir path
4. display name
Your problem was that from OC5 the LDAP entryUUID was used for
Hi,
Is some one works on Doodle like app?
I can invest some time on that.
thanks,

No that I know, but I don't see why it should be in owncloud either.
You may want to contribute to dudle instead (https://dudle.inf.tu-dresden.de/)

I made the suggestion of something doodle-like month ago as an app
opportunity. It is a nice job, easy to get starting. A little more complex
would be an integration with the calendar
It would make sense as a calendar extension, so you can plan events right
in there.

well I disagree. I think it is a very good idea to have something like that
it's not a university!!! It's a open source software, which you
download and you run wherever you want

if you talk about integration with calendar and contacts, then ok, I
can understand.

Hmmm,
what I like about Doodle is that is so simple and reduced to the point.
Integrating it with Calendar, Contacts and the coffee-machine has the potential
to make it worse and not better.
A very simple stand alone ownCloud app is actually a neat idea IMHO.
Only my opinion of course. :-)
again, what's wrong with the open source dudle?
I am always wary to make everything that comes to mind an owncloud app

We are happy with OC. I will start to make some first steps for simple
doodle app.
As OC app you can enable or disable, it should not be as a core or must have.
For other projects:
To install yet another service/server, integrate with the working

Hi,
i want to use ownCloud together with another webapplication. For this,
filenames only should contain letters, _, -, + and numbers, no spaces
and so on.
Looking arround in /apps/files i see, that i can reach this by
