I use NetDrive for that purpose since every kind of "should work"-hack (registry, etc.) didn't do the job for me. I use Win7 Prof x64 at work and on my personal laptop. NetDrive works great, but needs to get started before you can use drive, so it doesn't use a service unfortunately. It is "[..
