I have suffered greatly had the hands of this little problem. I'm
fairly certain the default used to be bridged. After many, many
wasted hours trying to find out why my new subversion VM wasn't
working, to the point where I decided to recreate it from scratch, I
noticed the default NAT instead
Looking into a tablet for a mate. he's a builder and will look at stuff like
invoices, diagrams, building plans and wants to run some kind of project
management software like ms project. Any recommendations?
He was looking at the ipad also at some point so doesn't have to be a tablet

I've just bought an ASUS Eee slate. Windows 7, i5, 64Gb ssd, 4Gb ram.
Wacom screen (pen) and touch. Comes with bluetooth keyboard.
Still waiting for it, but have heard its really nice to use. The
reviews of all the tablets from a recent tech show rate it as the best
tablet currently available.
Oh yeh forgot browsing, it would be nice to be able to visit any site -
Flash or SL or whatever.
Excuse my ignorance but you can get iPad with 3G, can the same be done with
tablets? It would be even better if its free like the Kindle ;-)

JB Hifi are selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 for $299. It's Android 2.2 and
you can use Adobe Flash, and it's good for ebook reading.
I am using one myself but I got it a while ago for double that price.

Which site did you get the ASUS EEE Slate from? The only thing missing from it
is a 3G gobi.

I'd recommend a convertible model then, rather than a pure slate. Trying to
work in MS Project would require a mouse/keyboard to do any effective work.
Toshiba M780, Lenovo X220T, HP 2740P etc.
Cheers

I just looked at that site, and there is javascript that increases the

OH NO, THE PRICE IS GOING UP!
Anyone aware of a dynamic orm software. Been using llblgen for years and
finding the need for a dynamic orm.
I find that some database create custom fields etc at runtime which do not
become visible to the ORM until I re-apply the ORM schema. If I re-apply

I want to order a book from Amazon, when I purchase the paperback does
that mean the Kindle version automatically becomes available to me
also? Or are they two different items and need to be purchased
separately? Can't find this info on the website
