I'm also wondering if you can run big Sur as a guest os on a older
Parallels/Macos host system. I'll give that a try too.

After more research about the dependencies around the Xamarin.iOS ecosystem
I am pretty sure that I have hit a wall of dominos 5-deep. It goes like
this:
VS2019 Community for Mac 8.10.11 (8)
comes with --> Xamarin.iOS 15.0.0.6
needs --> Xcode 13
needs --> macOS Big Sur 11.3
needs --> *(some iMac)*
Not sure about the dependencies but I bought the kids a macmini M1 for
about a grand. Craps all over my top of the line Lenovo X1 carbon which
cost considerably more. I'm probably jumping ship to one of the next
MacBook Pros being released next week ...
