It's that VBAC study published in the New England Jnl of Med. It has hospitals running scared. As we all know what it really raised our concerns about was VBAC inductions especially with prostaglandins, but I personally think ( no research to back this up) that VBAC's are not being offered as

Hi all, I know I have heard the time frame of 70 hours used for neonatal clearance of pethidine given in labour, but can anyone tell me of a reference for the narcotics given in the USA. They don't use Pethidine here, but instead use Nubain, Demerol and occasionally IV Fentanyl. I am NOT intereste
