Worked three nights before going on holidays (and to the ICM I hope!) and

I am pleased to report that we have very few episis at Bendigo. We had two
intact peris yesterday, despite the births being vacuum extractions by
obstetrician. It was very calm and controlled.

Janet, maybe you need to come and see our unit...we have been open since March,
we have just had out 105th baby, and we have only had 2 episiotomies performed
in that time, both for instrumental deliveries.
