Hi Fabrice,
I’ve made source as you said. I have radius source with rules below
[RADIUS rule ALLOW]
description=Allow
class=authentication
match=any
action0=set_role=guest
action1=set_access_duration=1D
condition0=username,starts,testuser@
[RADIUS rule REJECT]
description=Reject
Hi
Can you point me in the direction of a cheap AP (preferably fat - as I guess it
cheaper) that will work?
We don't have many guests and already have a solution in place, so I'd like a
cheap dedicated AP that can be used for guests only?
Thanks

Hi,
I want to allow registering only devices with selected usernames on captive
portal then reject all others.
I was trying to do it at source but i REJECT at the end of rules doesn't
work.
I see you've done working solution. Could you show me example of your rules?
Thanks for your response.
Tom
Thank you Fabrice.
One more question. Where can i find values or examples of captive portal
advanced filters?

It sounds like you may want to use a simple inline deployment on a
dedicated guest SSID, and any AP that you can buy should work in this
configuration...

Hello!
I was looking into utilizing Packetfence in my home lab, but curious if
anyone has been able to find documentation on if FreeRadius/Packetfence
supports any EAP-FASTv2 or EAP-TEAP implementations? I'd like to test out
EAP chaining for machine and user authentications - would this even be

Hello Spencer,
you can try with AP that support openwrt, also there is a Ubiquity
controller that can manage Ubiquity AP and we are close to support
MAC-AUTH and 802.1x with this setup.

Hello Fabrice
We were happy to see that the latest Ubiquity controller finally implement
radius and Mac-Auth on open SSID. However, in that configuration, it seems the
controller doesn't support dynamic VLAN assignement : the radius message send
by packetfence is ignored by the controller.
So

Hello Laura,
it looks that Freeradius not support EAP-FASTv2 so PacketFence will not
support it.
Btw it more a question to post on the FreeRadius mailling list (Will
FreeRadius support EAP-FASTv2).

Fabrice
