Hi Bob, if I'm not mistaken, I think the main reason you cannot sync is because that ROM version (and any earlier) does not come with Network Hotsync. You may need to replace the original hotsync with netsync.prc, check http://www.palm.com/support/downloads/netsync.html HIH, Sebas
