[Paraview] 3.8 RC2 binaries: still a bug in line charts

2010-05-10 Thread Richard GRENON
Hello I have just tested the 3.8 RC2 binaries (Linux 64). If some 3.8 RC1 bugs have been solved in line charts (points 1 and 2 in my previous mail about 3.8 RC1 regression in line chart), it is still impossible to change the default "bottom-left" axis system for another system with top or rig

Hi, Because your data are structured points, I think that the following pipeline would do the trick: reader -> Extract Surface -> Warp by Scalar You have small spacing compared to the height. So be careful of the warp factor. HTH Jerome 2010/5/10 motes motes : > I have this very simple image fi

[Paraview] Mac branded packaging

2010-05-10 Thread Eric E. Monson
Hey all, Packaging of my branded app is working well on Windows and Linux, but I'm trying once again to see if I can get packaging to work on OS X. I'm getting closer (after making sure my scripts were almost a verbatim copy of the PV ones), but I'm confused about a few things -- maybe someone

[Paraview] Clipping tool does not consider previous transformation scale set

2010-05-10 Thread Brockmann Patrick
Hi, Testing ParaView-3.8.0-RC2 on Linux x86, 32 bit When I use a clip filter after having set a transformation z-scale (here set at 0.001), I get a clip tool set at the dimension of the original object. I would be easier to use if the clipping tool was considering the previous set of transform

Good point. Just as an FYI, once you apply the clip filter, the result will still be transformed using the input's transformation. I've added a feature request. http://paraview.org/Bug/view.php?id=10698 BTW, if you used the Transform filter to scale the data itself, before clipping (instead of u

Yes, looks like I can't replicate it with RectGrid.vtk either. However I have been able to replicate it with bluntfin.vts... On 5/8/2010 5:43 AM, Favre Jean wrote: I am not able to reproduce a crash using ParaView 3.8RC2. Using the included Python script, you may play the scene for as long

thanks Utkarsh The page you suggested cleared some stuff for me! As David suggested I tried to look at the examples under Examples\CustomApplications directory in the paraview source. I CMake'd the examples there such as Clone1&2 and Demo0&1 and tried to run them to see how they work (That would b

When you are running on windows, windows expects that all the dlls are in PATH (or the same location as the exe). You may want to start the clone executable from a terminal ensuring that you set the PATH environment variable correctly to point to the dlls under the ParaView build dir. Utkarsh On
