Hi I recently undertook a project visualising 2nd order symmetrical stress tensors. I am currently looking at how to use Paraview to visualise a structured grid of these tensors using glyphs (either elipsiods or hedgehogs) with data taken from the finite element program MSC NASTRAN. Hi Im looking at using paraview to visualise the 3 eigenvectors and the 3 eigenvalues of a tensor using 3 vector lines at each point in my structured grid aranged in a similar manner to axis lines. The three vector lines are unit vectors which give the direction and are accompanied by 3 magnitudes

I was able to build this code using CMake 2.8.0 and microsoft visual studio 9 before however BUILD_SHARED_LIBS was off.
