I'm trying to write a xmdf file to see a vector field. I have each vector
component in a separated binary file. I'm using the xmdf file bellow but
I'm unable to make it work. Does anyone has sugestions, please?

After some head banging I've managed to get a xmdf file that works
exactly with the Function you mention... in Visit. Paraview just suicides
after I try to do any visualization operation with it.

Please file a bug report with a small as possible xdmf file that
demonstrates the problem and we can investigate.

I have re-done things with a smaller set... and paraview worked fine. I
re-tried with the initial set, cleanup the xmdf and... it work

JOIN and the other xdmf Function ItemTypes looked really useful to me.
I'm glad to see they can work in ParaView.
