Hi Steven
It also seems if there is not much streaming of rugby union series like the
super 12? And are there any streaming of local rugby union in Australia?

Hi Hank
I think it's about $199 dollars for the new version. They have special deals
however - when I bought it about 6 months ago it was on offer at $125. They
claim to have deals for new users I think.
here's the blurb from their email to me. There's more detail on the

Hi Gary
True, editing can be a problem at the moment. But for filtering files and
using the menus and bialog boxes it's good at present. With the new
enhancements and the commitment to making it more accessible for close
editing it should be much better. It's a work in progress, but at present I
Hi Hank
Cool Edit Pro (Audition now) can work with loops. As I've not used it for
this purpose I don't know how easy or difficult it is but I think the basics
would be fairly easy. There's thousands of loops available with it.

An update to RealPlayer 10 has recently been released. I don't have an
URL to download the update. I've found the easiest way to get it is to
use the option in RealPlayer to check for updates. This option is in
the Tools menu of RealPlayer 10. Other versions of RealPlayer have
this option but
Just to confirm you say that this is jfw friendly? obviously the new E Q
is not accessible right? Are there any scripts that you know of?
Thanks...rocker

Joe, I haven't done this myself, but I found a function called Save
split in the file menu. In the manual, they talk of split file, but I
haven't found a menu item with that name. Perhaps, it only is shown,
when there are selections. I'd first try the save split function of the
file menu.

Hi,
I've obtained a turntable that will play 33-1/3, 45-, and 78-RPM records
for the purpose of transferring old recordings to music CD.
The turntable has a pitch control for fine-tuning the speed. I don't
have perfect pitch, and I can't use the visual cues to set the speed
properly.

A possible solution is:
1 Buy a tuning fork pitched at A440.
2 Get yourself a piano recording recorded on a modern piano, which is
concert-pitched at A440. It would help you if the key of the piece is also
in A, and also that it's slow. Such a recording might be the one by

This program has had a small following amongst blind people. the parts of the program
that are accessible work really well with jaws, which in my opinion you do not need
scripts. until the editing features become more accessible, I will continue to use

I have a JQC Quartz-Lock turntable with pitch control, and there are detents in the

I also find Realplayer 10 to be accessible. However, using Windows ME, and
JFW 5.0844, I find that the update feature under the tools menu gives me a

I can detect the Autoupdate window title, but can't identify anything in the
window.
Does anyone else have this

Hi Gordon. It sounds like the Diamond Cut products are quite interesting.
I'm using Soundforge, but when I purchased Soundforge 5.0, I also got a
deal. I only paid $99 for it as an introductory price. I got a deal on
that one. It was 20 cents on a dollar, since Soundforge is around $500.

Hi Gordon. I think that one reason why I purchased the Soundforge program,
was that it seemed to adhere to windows conventions than any other sound
