For this, I tend to use Virtual audio Cable.
Yesterday, I had to record four hours from a stream which used
Hi, all! I have a couple of quick questions:
1. I want to move my Jaws voice to a different sound card. I've done this
before with the help of you guys, and I went to the Archives to find out how
to do it again. Well, I guess I'm dense, but I don't know a quick way to
find that subject. It

This is another problem with replay-AV, and it happens almost every time.
When you set the program times and then come back and look at them they
are always an hour later than you set them. Now I know it's going to

set the t
The reason I had two separate streams for one show was that KPCC was

Hi.
I may have some bad news about your laptop. I have a laptop that I use, and
it does not have a line in jack. It has just the one for a microphone.
Windows does show line in on the volume control, but I suspect it's there
for all PCs whether they have a line in jack or not.
Just for your inf
That's what my laptop has as well, and that really doesn't allow me to do
much with recording.

Yes generally if you want line in, you'll need to get a port replicator or
docking station for your laptop. I use Line In all the time with my IBM
Think pad, but it requires the port replicator.

player I couldn't record from. Works really well and of course an added
benefit is that you can then use Replay AV to tune into the stream at any
time, even if you don't want to record it, and bypass the embedded player.

I can't get wav files to play. I went to preferences and file types and

Hi Sharon,
Does it makes any noise when you do different commands? If not, go to the
control panel to sounds and audio devices. I can select different sounds to
go with different programs. Dave
