THis is the 4-th question in 1 month i ask which i hope will be answererd.
Maybe my questions are to complex or maybe im not getting through.
But instead of picking on folks i ask another one.

I have real alternative or media player classic, but I don't know how, with

volume up and down but nothing seems to happen. I guess I'm wondering,

Kathy,
No need to make this process complicated. Just make a data cd using
Nero, and copy the files from Windows Explorer into the box where the
files go. That box is just above the file browser button. Actually,
I'm saying all this from memory, but you get the idea. If not, I'll

I have not tried that procedure. If you look in goldwave's control pannal,
I believe its under 'advance', there is a place where you select the play
back card as well as the record card.

Ok Doky I've now taken a look at both of these programs. DSpeech is another
editor that does not install and it will call any of the voices on your
system unlike Biblos which just calls the eloquent voices if I remember. So
basically you just load whatever document you want with this and then you
Hi Joanne and list,
Joanne, to answer your first question, I don't use the media player
classic hardly at all. Sure it's there in place of real player, and I got
rid of real player because of the icon that appeared in the system tray that
I had to disable every time I started the machine.
Hi all,
Just to add to this thread.
I have also downloaded this text to mp3 program I am just running it as I

I like the fact that you don't have to install it and I did not think about
putting it on a flash drive neat, I am obsess about text to mp3 converters

I just want to amend the Teen spirit note. There is a shuffle and I found
that and also you can assign hotkeys for playand stop and such. I told it
to load my whole mp3 collection but it would have taken a dogs age so I
loaded just a few folders instead. I have better than 22,000 songs on this
It will do either mp3 or wave.

Hi,
Yes! I am just making an mp3 file at this time.
I note that it seems to be very slow but I have it set at low priority so
may play around later on but it seems to be doing it and their is no
deproment to my screen readers speech.
On the subject of speech, can someone tell me if I can

In recent posts, I've seen references to the fact that
I don't think DSpeech will work with Eloquence. It will only work with SAPI
voices.

I've only tried ripping with nero a couple of times and that was a long time

hi tim,
I checked my drive yesterday. it is really a crappy drive. it burns cd at
16x, cdrw at 10 or 12x, dvd r and rw at like 2.4x and reads at some

hi all,
I'm in a rural area. We haven't got satelite yet, we're still receiving UHF
or whatever type of signals the old analog tv is. I've got a question. We've
got the main antenna box downstairs. We've got a cable running up to my
room, where it's plugged into my fairly new VCR DVD combo. It's
why would you need satalite to use your r c a jacks?

To my delight, I just discovered an update to CDex on Betanews. I'm
thrilled that someone is continuing development with the program
because it works well and works great with speech. The updated Lame

better. This is a beta,
Thanks Monica! It works like a dream!

hi rick
just because i'm not sure if the current output is sent as data to the tv
and converted there or converted on the vcr. i know i can use the RCA jack
with movies, i'm just not sure about tv.
with satelite, it'll be a direct transfer instead of being piped through all
these sources.
