False alarm on winamp. Its working ok now. I guess it was the stream.
Now another question. Is the newest winamp as accessible with jaws 7 as version
5.24? When I tried it the dashboard feature confused me.What's that all about?
thanks again. Joe.

It's even with GoldWave except for accessible volume levels and, if memory
serves, eq settings. I don't think GW gives access to these.

I didn't find the Diamond Cut program to be a very good audio editor at all! it
was darn good as a restoration program though!

Sound Forge is probably the most accessible sound editor, but it's not
multi-track, nore is it close to being the cheapest.

Hi. I guess I didn't make myself clear. I have the problem listening to streams
with both winamp 5.24 and the new one. If there are any tutorials that explain
all the settings in preferences, what they mean and optimum settings for blind
users with jaws I would appreciate knowing about it.

There is a huge difference between a buffer overrun, and a buffering

access through code
I prefer the DC6 restoration offerings for vinyl, such as pop/click and

It could be a bug. Two broadcasters have told me that they find version 5.24
the most stable...
You can find it at oldversions or someone may have it.
Just because a new version comes out doesn't mean you have to upgrade unless
there are serious security issues or it has a feature you want.
