Your question is a common one based on a lack of understanding of media
players. Many users want one single player to handle all of their
listening chores.
Nice idea; but since there are hundreds of media stream types and variants
thereof, this is a virtual impossibility.
So get used to
have you tested it for accessibility yet?

Not sure, but I don't think you'd necessarily have to have the more
expensive version, but the Soundforge Noisereduction plug-in might be pricey
to buy separately. The newest version has it built-in. Hope this doesn't
confuse you more.

Thanks, Petro! Mention was made in the piece you sent about the IPhone.
Could something like that work for blind people? That would be great, but I
heard that the IPhone uses a touch screen. That wouldn't be useful for
blind people, but I would appreciate any comments about this, incase
Well, are you prepared to educate anyone who is willing to follow your lead,
as to how to use the plug ins, that you are talking about, when you find and
publish your info, to the list? One has to remember that not everyone has
the same amount of expertise that you may have, in this realm,

Okay, Curtis and gang! First, thanks for all your ideas, suggestions and
info. I've pretty much neglected Soundforge and tend to use Studio Recorder
asmuch as I can. But since there are certain things I want to do, like the
reducing hiss and static thing, I think I need to start paying
Thanks for chiming in, Judy! I have the package, as well; I am just saying
that I haven't used it much and don't have the knowledge necessary to use it
and blanket statements about plug ins is not going to change that, in the
short term!

I personally don't care what people choose to use for sound reduction. I am
just saying that I can use the plugin that you can purchase for SoundForge 6
with jaws and Jim's scripts. It was cheaper for me to buy the product as a
bundle and I got a very good deal. The noise reduction was designed

Just what I thought, Dane; you are pulling what is known as a Bait and
Switch, luring someone with a snack, then making them have to hunt, for the
meal, probably just like you did! Which brings up the old adage There's No

So, provide the steps, necessary, to get to that point, that you just
described, won't you? You need to realize that I, for one, don't have your
set of skills and you are Talking Smack, to a novice!
