Hi all, I have my mixer connected through line-in on my computer, I think I've sselected line-in under vista. Whenever I connect a device through my mixer, I hear a strange high-pitched wine through the headphones that I cant get rid of. I've tried different cables and they're all new. The

Hello Scott, This winding noise could be coming from your hard drive. If you are using an integrated sound card which is the kind that is on your mother board, that is where the problem is. You may try using another sound card of higher quality, that may fix it for you. Good luck on that!

Yes exactly, I have a pair here which i use with Itunes on the Mac, you plug em in and Itunes can take total control of them, they're actually classed as a Sound Device on my Mac at any rate and I'd assume the same thing for windows so you can select that sound device as a default audio

I have a pair that came with my Dell desktop. I find them good for synthesizer speech and better than you would expect for their size when handling music with deep bass. I could see using them when editing recordings but for myselfI don't reccomend them as my primary listening. - Original
