Hello:
If it's the new model, then it is series two. The only way to tell without
trying to use it, is to read the model number on the back of the unit.
Hope this helps.

Here is the audio link for this station:

As it turns out, this one is easy as it is a station that's part of the Clear
Channel extended family of stations.

Currently, all these stations, those that
Hi all,
I have an older computer, Dell Dimension, probably almost ten years old. I
just installed Windows 98 SE, JAWS 5.0, and GoldWave 4.26. The machine is
networked using a dLink wireless and wired router. I am using GoldWave to
record my vinyl from a stereo receiver and turntable.
A note for those living outside the U. S. If you have had occasion to
attempt to stream a Clear Channel station but found it impossible, where you
live might be the reason why.
Clear Channel blocks non U. S. residents from listening to all of their
streams including HD2 stations. To my

Well, as you are Canadian, I can see why you wouldn't be a CC fan given
that they lock you out.
What I do like about Clear Channel are two things:
(1) They have made a concerted effort to get a good number of stations
streaming
(2) They use a consistent url structure so it is easy to
Hi all,
I have found that increasingly, my onboard soundcard decides to crash. I would
like to buy a good external soundcard, which as geared to heavy music
listening, heavy computer using, and some gaming. I am looking for USB
soundcard suggestions, and may buy a creative soundcard. The
Hi, after doing some research, i'm looking in to the creative sound blaster

Hi back List, is there anyone out there that has actually used this TV
Web program and viewed shows or movies without hassle?
How does it work? Do you download the TV program and then waht?
Does it cause any troubles with Jaws, Magic or Open book or any other
programs?
This sounds good, and what
Hello List Members,
I wish to convert a batch of ape files with Switch.
But When I try to do this, I get a message that says, the feature you are
about to use, requires the plus version of Switch.
It also says, that I have to buy it.
Is this really needed to convert ape files?
Thanks in advance.
I read somewhere clear channel is about to be purchased. I also
contacted a uk station once about not being able to listen online
anymore. They told e about the non resident restriction, then gave
me a new link. You might try emailing the station you are trying to
listen to and see if they
You're right Mike, those sound like positives and if I lived where you do, I
would probably view them more in the same light. Still, , as you said, I do
live in Canada, so I've blocked by the company from experiencing those
advantages firsthand. To me, Clear Channel is a company that chooses
Hi
The below fello stated it worked with jaws. You basically download a channel

I have not tested this program here with JAWS 9 but letting you all know about

Yeah, but windows media player takes way too long, typical microsoft: it
has to initialize and get the files ready for copying! Of course, with
real player, it takes about a quorter of the time...

The program is free. You just download it from

For JAWS users:
1. Launch the program.
2. Shift-tab to the combo box of countries.
3. Down arrow to the country you want.
4. Tab once to the list of stations in that country.
Yes, it is.

I use JLC's Internet TV with Jaws. Sometimes it is hard to get Jaws focused
in the right area. Understanding the layout of the screen helps. I wish it
used the control tab or f6 to switch tabs. Instead, I need to use the jaws
cursor a lot to switch areas.
It's free but it installs a
The only problem I have with this is, is there a way to stop the channel

I really think this is stupid. There waisting money, why not let people from
Canada such as myself or other countries listen to there stations? Seems to
be only in the states, too. Don't mean to sound rude but its usually the
case, anyway.
Anyway, it didn't work for me.
