You can't use stario mix using a USB headset, as far as I know. Windows
treats it as its own soundcard and I've yet to see one with stario mix
capability.

I want to record a demo showing off a piece of software. I am running
Windows Vista which is probably the cause of my grief. I am using a Logitek
USB headset mic. What I would like to do is not only record my voice, but the

I can't tell you exactly how to do this in vista but go to the playback
properties in the volume control and make sure mic and wave volumes are
checked. then close the volume control. you should here the synthesizer and
your voice through the USB headset once you plug it in. in the record

Is that one of those 3.5 mm mini stereo jacks?
I've noticed some are really hard to get that last little bit in. I've felt
them very carefully and think the problem is they don't make the divisions
between the different sections smooth enough. Some brands are much better
than others.
